Venus Table

Venus Table is an exciting adaptation from the Lunar series. Ede makes the dramatic move from aluminium to bronze, whilst still employing his favourite open cast pouring method. The use of bronze changes both the texture and richness of the colour.

The extremely high melting point of the metal creates a much higher risk of failure when open casting, but yields a result that looks like the surface of the fiery planet Venus.


The cantilevered bronze surface is grounded by the Malmesbury Slate Rock.
